Preschool Enrichment Camps

This summer, we are excited to introduce Preschool enrichment camps, which offer a fun introduction to summer camp for children ages 3 and 4. Children will have a great time participating in fun sports activities that will introduce them to the basics of the sport while promoting age-appropriate teamwork. We hope you and your preschooler will join us for the fun and experience what summer camp is all about!

*Parent/Guardian participation is required. Parents/Guardians help with drills, manage behavior issues, and take participants to the restroom when needed. They also encourage and support participants who feel shy or afraid to interact with our instructors.

*Please note that these camps are standalone programs and cannot be combined with our Preschool Camp Minnehaha sessions due to licensing regulations.

NEW Preschool SuperTots Sampler (June 15-18) Week 2 AM

Introduce your young superstar to the joys of sports with our multi-sport tots program! This engaging class focuses on balance, hand-eye coordination, fitness, and sports skills while promoting essential aspects of child development. We will explore activities related to flag football, soccer, and t-ball.

*Parent participation is required. Parents help with drills, manage behavior issues, and take participants to the restroom when needed. They also encourage and support participants who feel shy or afraid to interact with our instructors.

Let your child explore their love for sports with our Mini-Hawk program! This program introduces flag football, soccer, and t-ball in a fun and engaging way. Kids will enjoy activities like cheering for touchdowns, kicking goals, and making slam dunks. Skyhawks focuses on developing skills while ensuring everyone has a great time playing.

Introduce your young athlete to soccer with Skyhawks Soccer Tots! Curriculum is tailored for age-appropriate skill development, ensuring new challenges as they learn and grow. Soccer Tots emphasizes motor skills, body control, and fundamental techniques such as dribbling, passing, and shooting—all while prioritizing FUN!

This camp will focus on key skills like dribbling, shooting, passing, and teamwork. We use adjustable hoops and right-sized basketballs to ensure every young player is challenged appropriately.

In this beginner robotics camp, your child will explore the world of robotics by building simple models that teach the fundamentals of robotic design. Campers will learn about motors by constructing drills and catapults. This camp encourages both independent learning and collaboration with partners.

Ignite your child’s curiosity this summer at Ready, Set, Blast Off! This camp is specially designed for aspiring aerospace engineers and rocket enthusiasts. During the week, children will learn about flight and the science of how things fly. They will build rockets and launch them outdoors, becoming junior rocket scientists in the process.

This camp is specifically designed for beginner coders, making learning coding skills both fun and easy. Children will work in small teams to build a Pokémon adventure map, design their dream Pokémon team, code a game to catch Pokémon, and even create a duel game to battle against friends.

NEW Tech Tac Toe Glow In The Dark: Light Up Engineering Lab (June 15-18) Week 2 PM

This camp provides children with the opportunity to explore the science behind fluorescent and luminescent pigments as they create glowing masterpieces. From LED-powered flashlights to underwater sea monsters and dazzling night lamps, campers will work on a new light-up project each day to take home and showcase their engineering skills!

In this camp, your child will design their own Sumo wrestling robot to compete against their camp mates' bots for the title of the "Toughest Sumo Bot." Guided by a trained Snapologist, children will become better engineers, programmers, and collaborators.

In this camp, children will explore different art styles and cultural traditions from around the globe. Campers will learn about and create works inspired by Aboriginal dot painting, Japanese ink art, and Mexican folk art. Celebrate America's milestone 250th birthday! This camp brings history to life with stories about our nation's heroes and founding principles. Your child will join discussions, play 18th-century games like "The Midnight Ride Relay," and create a declaration on parchment paper with a feather quill and seal it with wax.

This camp presents an exciting new adventure every day. We will embark on treasure hunts using handheld GPS units to discover hidden caches in parks near campus, as well as regional and state parks. Each day’s expedition will be filled with exploration and discovery, allowing participants to connect with nature while honing their navigation skills in the great outdoors. Transportation to and from the parks is included.

In this camp, children will tackle fun challenges and build gadgets to thrive in the outdoors. They'll learn how to make a periscope to spy on their surroundings, harness solar energy for cooking, and create a water filtration device and a shelter. By the end of the camp, campers will have transformed into survival experts.

In this creative camp, children will learn essential beading techniques, wire working, and collage principles to create one-of-a-kind jewelry pieces. Project options include earrings, necklaces, rings, bookmarks, hair clips, brooches, and more. Additionally, we will decorate lampshades using beads, jewels, and other materials. The camp fee covers all materials.

This is a two-week camp where children will become movie stars by acting in an original motion picture created just for them. Campers will learn how to film and edit their short movies, incorporating music, special effects, and backgrounds. They will use a green screen to produce both stop-motion and live-action films. Movies will be showcased on the final day of camp to an audience of family and friends.

Curtain Up Theatre Camp: Teen Musical Intensive (June 15-27) FD Weeks 2 & 3

Turn it up and take the stage in this high-octane, feel-good musical that celebrates individuality, teamwork, and the power of music. Based on the hit musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber, School of Rock follows Dewey Finn, a failed wannabe rock star who unexpectedly finds himself leading a group of straight-A students toward something much louder and more exciting than anything they've ever known.
As Dewey transforms a class of rule-followers into a full-fledged rock band, the students discover confidence, creativity, and the courage to step outside the lines. This Teen Intensive embraces the rebellious heart of the story while highlighting its core message: everyone has something unique to bring to the band.
From guitar riffs and drum solos to powerhouse vocals and ensemble moments, this show gives performers the chance to shine both as individuals and as a team. In just two weeks, performers will dive into singing, acting, dancing, and rock-band performance skills while mounting a full-scale musical from rehearsal to performance.
The intensive will culminate in two electrifying performances that bring this underdog story to life with serious energy and style. Whether you are center stage or laying down the beat, this action-packed production proves that the best lessons don't always come from a textbook.

Curtain Up Theatre Camp: Technical Camp (June 15-27) Weeks 2 & 3 AM

Theatre involves much more than just performing on stage. Your child can discover what happens behind the scenes and what it takes to put on a musical. Campers will have hands-on experience with running lights and sound, building sets, and more. They will work as part of the tech crew for our Teen Musical Production, helping to ensure the show runs smoothly.

This camp is a standalone camp. No transportation between our campus will be provided. If campers wish to attend an afternoon camp, they will need to arrange their own transportation to the Elementary and Middle School location.

The sun will come out as we step into the streets of 1930s New York City for a heartwarming week of music, hope, and big smiles. With determination, positivity, and a whole lot of heart, Annie follows a young girl who believes that tomorrow can always be brighter—even in the toughest of times. In just one week, performers will sing, dance, and act their way through this beloved classic, bringing to life the world of the orphanage, the hustle and bustle of New York City, and the warmth of finding family in unexpected places. As Annie searches for her parents and outsmarts the hilariously villainous Miss Hannigan, young performers will learn the fundamentals of musical theatre while building confidence, creativity, and teamwork.

Designed specifically for young performers, this kids' musical is packed with theatre games, imaginative play, and youthful movement—making it the perfect introduction to the magic of the stage. The week will culminate in a final performance where every camper will get their moment to shine.
