We will be together.

By following the Minnesota Department of Health guidelines and applying them to our local context, we are able to offer in-person classes. We offer on-campus, in-person small group instruction.

We are equipped.

If our plans need to be modified, you can be sure that your child will receive an exceptional education in a caring community in any instructional mode. Minnehaha Academy hasn’t just endured the challenges we’ve faced, we grow from them and improve; we don’t just have skin in the game, we have soul in the game.

Safety Best Practices

It is critical for all members of the Minnehaha Community to be vigilant to screen every morning before school and during the school day for symptoms of COVID-19 in order to keep our community healthy.  If this isn’t done, no matter how careful we are in school, our plans for a healthy learning environment won’t succeed. Please follow the decision tree when determining whether or not to come to school.

We are committed to a safe and healthy environment for learning and will be following nine guidelines for safety.

  1. Student and staff self-screening
  2. Small class sizes
  3. Social distancing
  4. Increased hand washing protocol and sanitizing stations
  5. Face coverings
  6. Bi-polar ionization air filtration to remove viruses and other pathogens as used in hospitals and the airline industry
  7. Separate space for students who exhibit covid-like symptoms
  8. Increased cleaning and sanitation procedures
  9. Limited visitors on campus

In-Person Learning

We are offering our students in-person learning in small cohorts. Because of our ability to maximize our facility and faculty, we can accomplish small class sizes with an in-person model; class sizes that are more traditionally achieved in a hybrid model.
