What an amazing night of basketball at the Target Center! Minnehaha Academy defeated Sierra Canyon 78-58 in the ESPN Clash of Champions exhibition game.
What can you expect to see if your child joins an athletic team at Minnehaha Academy? Relationships. Versatility. Excellence.
You can expect that your child will find themselves building memories and friendships that will last a lifetime. Not only will their fellow athletes and coaches be helping them succeed in the game, but they will build lasting relationships while learning life lessons and integrating Christian faith with their athleticism.
You can expect to see your child's horizons grow. Rather than focusing on one sport year round, your child will be encouraged to participate in multiple sports to get a well-rounded, versatile athletic experience. Many of our students not only participate on multiple sports teams but are also active in the fine arts department as well.
You can expect excellence to be promoted on and off the field. Our coaches support and encourage the importance of strong academics among their athletes. Student athletes at Minnehaha Academy average a higher GPA than non-athletes.

Student-athlete Chet set the internet ablaze when he dunked on NBA player Steph Curry at basketball camp.
Minnehaha journalism students Jake, Luke, Annika, and Abby were selected to participate in "Full Court Press," an intensive sports writing and photography seminar that covers the NCAA Final Four before the semifinal games on Friday, April 5, at US Bank Stadium.
Winning the state title was one of the most invigorating and joyful moments I have ever experienced while participating in sports. It was truly an awesome experience to win that sort of maximum standard for such a great school… a school where I have found academics to be of the utmost importance.
