My son is receiving a top notch education with teachers who know him and care about him! We live in a district with excellent schools but it is worth it to pay the tuition and drive the commute each day to have him surrounded by teachers who are strong, Christian role models who expect excellence. -Parent

As Minnesota’s top-ranked Christian school, we offer an exceptional education rooted in faith. Start the Process

  1. Apply for admission to Minnehaha.
  2. Complete the confidential financial profile through FACTS. You’ll submit details like income, assets, family size, and expenses.
  3. Receive your individualized tuition within an approved range. We consider the FACTS recommendation, overall demand, and available program funding.
  4. Accept your offer and enroll. Your customized flexible tuition is renewed annually depending on your income and tuition level; families applying for Flexible Tuition must re-apply every year.
  5. What we consider:
  • Income from all sources
  • Assets and savings; home equity in moderation
  • Family size and number of students in tuition-charging schools
  • Certain obligations (e.g., medical, elder care)
  • Special circumstances you share with us (e.g., Covenant church member)

What we don’t do: We don’t offer loans through this program; this is a tuition reduction based on demonstrated need.

Key Dates for New Students:

  • Flexible tuition applications open: November 1
  • Priority deadline for affordability application: February 15
  • Admissions decisions issued: March 27
  • Flexible tuition decisions released: April 10

FAQs

Do all families qualify?
Not all, but many do—including middle-income families. Awards vary based on the full financial profile.

How do divorced/separated households apply?
We require financial information from both households to ensure a fair assessment. Please contact us at FlexibleTuition@MinnehahaAcademy.net if there are extenuating circumstances.

What about self-employed families or small-business owners?
You’ll submit supplemental documentation (e.g., Schedule C/K-1s). FACTS helps us review year-over-year trends to reach an equitable result.

Do we need to re-apply every year?
Yes. Because financial circumstances and tuition rates change, you’ll complete an annual renewal.

Is my information confidential?
Absolutely. Your data is encrypted and reviewed only by Minnehaha’s affordability team.

Can tuition be appealed?
If your circumstances aren’t fully captured in the application (e.g., emergency medical expenses), contact us. We may request documentation to consider an adjustment.

Will applying affect admission?
No. Admission and affordability reviews are conducted through separate workflows.

Tuition 2026-2027

Minnehaha Academy is committed to a community that reflects the body of Christ—diverse in background and united in purpose. Flexible Tuition is one way we live that out, ensuring that family finances are not the primary barrier to an exceptional Christian education.

Heritage & Hope Scholarship

The Heritage & Hope Scholarship Fund is a vital part of making Flexible Tuition possible. Generous donors—alumni, parents, grandparents, and friends—contribute to this fund so more families can access Minnehaha’s life-changing education. Their investment bridges the gap between what a family can afford and the true cost of a Redhawk education.

Every gift to the Heritage & Hope Fund helps another student belong, grow, and thrive at Minnehaha Academy.

Families benefit. Students flourish. The mission expands.
