Lindsay Johnson '06 Visits French Class
Sara Jacobson

Lindsay Johnson '06, daughter of Lance (Upper School dean of students) and Carrie Johnson (fifth grade teacher), came to share about her life in France as a cheese maker. She has lived on a farm in Châteauroux-les-Alpes in southeastern France since 2010 and visited the Upper School to explain the process of cheese making with French students.

Her journey began a couple of years after graduating from North Park University when she signed up to work temporarily on an organic farm in France. Since then she has put her five years of Minnehaha French studies to work.  "It was super interesting," said Mark Norlander Upper School French teacher. "Her French is amazing and she even has acquired the regional accent of where she lives."

She fell in love with what she was doing and has lived there ever since. The MA French students enjoyed her visit (and the cheese!).
