Over four sessions, the Middle School counselor exposes eighth graders to different careers. First, the students register for Naviance, a program that Upper School students use to do all post high school and college planning. Second, eighth graders take an Ideas Inventory, an exploration and assessment system that help them dig deeper into interests and careers. Third, they take a Career Key, which helps them narrow down career themes and areas of interest.
All of this culminates with a Career Day, when they choose one of eight sites to visit then return for a seminar that features a parent speaker.
