A Quality Christian High School Focused on Academic Excellence

Minnehaha Academy, Minneapolis campus

Since 1913, Minneapolis has been home to Minnehaha Academy, one of the nation’s leading private Christian high schools. Our recently renovated Upper School campus on the banks of the Mississippi River serves 550 students from Minneapolis, St. Paul, and the Twin Cities area suburbs.

Minnehaha provides a rigorous college-preparatory course of study, but more importantly, provides an environment that values academic achievement. This includes the support of peers as well as parents and teachers.

Outside of the classroom, close to 100% of students participate in sports, fine arts, and co-curricular activities. Through Christian studies, senior Capstone class, weekly chapel, and the guidance of faculty and staff, students are given a moral compass for their lives.

Prepared for College - Thoughts from the Class of ‘07

“Academically, I left Minnehaha with the study skills needed to organize hours of lecture notes and reading materials into a study guide, work with classmates on projects, and interact positively with my professors.”

“Minnehaha was the perfect fit for me. I feel prepared academically, spiritually, and socially for college. While many incoming freshmen struggled with their newfound freedom, I found the transition to college quite easy because of the high expectations of my teachers at Minnehaha.”
