Sarah Anderson, '04, while working on her PhD in Physics at the University of Michigan, was published December 20, 2011, in the Physical Review, a prestigious journal from the American Physical Society. The paper is titled, "Trapping Rydberg atoms in an optical lattice," and the research is supported by the National Science Foundation and the Department of Energy.
