2011-2012 Supply Lists and Information
Backpacks and Lockers
Students are not allowed to carry backpacks from class-to-class during the school day. Students may carry books to and from school in backpacks, but they must unpack their backpacks into their lockers at the beginning of the day. Sports equipment should be brought to the locker rooms before school. Musical instruments should be taken to the band or orchestra room before school.
Calculators
Middle School math students will need a scientific calculator (The TI30XIIS may be purchased from the MA Bookstore for $15.50).
School Supplies
Specific school supplies for each class will be discussed during the first day of classes. All that is necessary to bring for the first day is the assignment notebook which will be handed out during the Advisor meeting on August 31st, a notebook, and a pencil. The following is a list of general supplies needed for each grade level. Minnehaha Academy provides all books except the Bible, Bible textbooks, and consumable workbooks.
Grade 6 Supply List
Latin Class: 1 spiral-bound, wide-lined notebook, 70 page, 1 pocket folder, 1 Minimus-Starting out in Latin Workbook (MA bookstore)
Phy-Ed: MA lock, Red Physical Education t-shirt (both at MA bookstore), athletic shorts
English: 1 spiral bound, wide-lined 3 subject notebook, 1 stretchy book cover, 1 accordian 7+ pocket folder, 1 highlighter.
Math: Scientific Calculator (MA bookstore), 1 stretchy book cover, 1 pocket folder (MA bookstore), spiral graph paper notebook.
Bible: NIV Bible, 1 spiral-bound, wide-lined, 3 subject notebook, 1 pocket folder
Literature: 1 spiral-bound, wide-lined, 3 subject notebook, 1 highlighter.
Social Studies: coloring pens or pencils, 1 pocket folder, 1 spiral note book

Miscellaneous: 2 spiral-bound, wide-lined notebooks – 70 page, 1 composition graph notebook, pens and pencils.
Grade 7 Supply List
Latin: Cambridge Latin Course Omnibus Workbook Unit I (red) (MA Bookstore), 1 package looseleaf paper, 300 3 x 5 Notecards, 1 - 1 1/2" binder (D-ring if possible), 10 (or more) sheet protectors, reinforcing circles (for paper in binder)
