Preschool Admission Process Overview

Step 1

Request Information

Fill out the “Request Admission Information” form on this page or contact Julia Stewart, Lower School Admission Counselor, by phone at 612-728-7778 or email at stewartjulia@MinnehahaAcademy.net. After you request admission information, you will receive an information packet including the school’s viewbook, transportation options and other materials.

Step 2

Visit Campus

Personal tours are the best way for parents to learn more about the classes and programs at Minnehaha Academy. During your tour, you will meet our preschool teachers, see the preschool classroom and other spaces where your child will go during the day, such as the library, gym, chapel, and art, music and Spanish rooms.

You can also learn more about Minnehaha Academy by attending an Open House. Meet students, teachers, administrators and learn about our extraordinary programs and offerings.

 

Step 3

Apply

Once your online application is submitted and your $100 fee is paid, your admission counselor will send you the required forms for your student’s admission file.

Start Your Minnehaha Academy Adventure

Step 5

Enroll

To secure your child’s spot, you must sign the Enrollment Contract and pay a $500 enrollment deposit. This deposit will be applied toward your tuition balance.

 

Step 4

Receive Acceptance Letter

You will be notified if your student has been accepted. Once they’ve been accepted, you will receive an Enrollment Contract.

Fill Out an Online Application (Fee of $100)
A. Once your online application is submitted, your admission counselor will send you the required forms for your student’s admission file.

B. Once you’ve completed and returned the required forms, your application is complete and your file will be submitted to the Admission Committee for review.


Step 4: Receive Acceptance Letter

You will be notified if your student has been accepted. Once they’ve been accepted, you will receive an Enrollment Contract.
