Step 2

Visit Campus

Personal tours are the best way for parents to learn more about the classes and programs at Minnehaha Academy. During your tour, you will meet our grade-level teachers, see the classrooms and other spaces your child would go during the day, such as the library, gym, chapel, and art, music and Spanish rooms.

You can also learn more about Minnehaha Academy by attending an Open House. Meet students, teachers, administrators and learn about our extraordinary programs and offerings.

Step 3

Shadow Day

Students in grades 6 through 12 are strongly encouraged to shadow a Minnehaha student for a day. This is an opportunity to learn what a typical day at our school is like. Your student will attend classes and lunch with a current student to experience a full day.

Step 6

Receive Acceptance Letter

You will be notified if your child has been accepted. Once accepted, you will receive an Enrollment Contract.

Step 5

Entrance Exam

Students in grades 6 to 12 must come to Minnehaha Academy and take an entrance exam, the Iowa Tests of Basic Skills. Once your child has taken the exam, your application is complete and your file will be submitted to the Admission Committee for review.
